After the brutal murder of the university student Ozgecan Aslan, 20, tens of thousands of people in dozens of cities marched against the reactionary AKP government whose discourse and policies nurture femicide in the country.
The Communist Party, Turkey, was an active organizer of the rallies all over the country and women from the Communist Party released a statement against the misogynist AKP regime.
The Communist Youth organized several rallies on the streets and at the universities, and the militants of the Communist Party decorated the street walls with slogans, “AKP is the murderer of Ozgecan” and “Erdogan is the murderer of Ozgecan”.
